About 100 people aged between 10 and 25 came together at 140 William Street for the Youth Summit on Tuesday.
The event was organised to gather consultation on a new youth strategy being developed by the Department to improve the delivery of programs and services to support young Western Australians.
The first step towards the new strategy is the 'Better Choices: Youth in WA' discussion paper and feedback on the paper was sought from participants on the day.
Young people travelled from across the State to attend the Summit, including as far as Port Hedland and Geraldton.
Feedback on the 'Better Choices: Youth in WA' discussion paper will continue to be sought via email, webform or video until Monday 18 December 2017.
