Four service providers have been selected to deliver the new Thrive program in Western Australia.
Thrive is a support program for Aboriginal housing and public housing clients. Thrive aims to empower people to live their best lives by building their skills and knowledge to reach their social and economic goals.
Thrive will take a holistic approach to enhance people’s lives by looking at the wider needs of the individual. It will have a strong focus on early intervention, supporting people to identify and tackle problems before they become too great or reach crisis.
Thrive services will commence in October 2019, replacing the Support and Tenant Education Program (STEP).
An initiative of the Department of Communities, Thrive will be delivered in partnership with non-government organisations.
