From 1 July 2017, in line with the Bilateral Agreement between the State and Commonwealth governments, the State-administered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is rolling out to the local government areas of Rockingham and Mandurah, the Perth Hills and in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.

The State Government is continuing its discussions with the Commonwealth Government regarding the future model of the state-wide roll out of the NDIS so that all eligible West Australians have access to the support and services they need to achieve their goals and participate in our community.

While the State Government finalises its consideration it is committed to ensuring that people in Western Australia can have access to the NDIS.

Hear from the Hon Stephen Dawson MLC, Minister for Disability Services about the roll out of the NDIS.
