Bushfire recovery centre

A Perth Bushfire Recovery Centre is open and various agencies will be at that location to provide practical support and information.

  • Gidgegannup City Office, Unit 4, 2125 Toodyay Road, Gidgegannup 6083 (next to the Gidgegannup Bakery and Cafe)

All Perth evacuation centres have now closed.

If you need assistance due to the Perth bushfires, the Department of Emergency Services website or Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA Facebook page have up-to-date information.

If you are in lockdown or in any form of isolation or quarantine for COVID-19, you must do whatever you need to do to protect your life. Protecting yourself and your family from the immediate danger of the bushfire is first and foremost.

Volunteering and donations

If you would like to volunteer or offer support or assistance, you can contribute to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund, or contact your local charity for advice on how you can help.

Welfare assistance

Financial assistance may be made available to people who have been affected by an emergency or disaster.

Other practical assistance, emotional support, information, referral, advocacy, counselling and psychological services may also be available to support you.
