On 15 July 2020, Minister Simone McGurk, Minister for Community Services, announced the first Common Ground facility will be located on the corner of Hill Street and Wellington Street in East Perth.

This innovative supportive housing model demonstrates a successful response to addressing homelessness, with proven results around Australia.

Join us for a drop-in community information session where you are invited to learn more about the Common Ground model. You will have the opportunity to meet with the Common Ground Project Team from the Department of Communities and staff from City of Perth, who will be available to answer your questions.

Sessions will be limited to 30 minutes to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions. Please RSVP online for a time slot at or phone 0466 543 195. You are also welcomed to drop in and join a session based upon the COVID-19 capacity limit.
