My Money My Life
Young Western Australians will benefit from tips on financial independence with the launch of the ‘My Money My Life’ publication which provides practical advice on matters like:
- buying your first car
- dealing with the costs of moving out
- mobile phone contracts
- credit cards.

2013 Positive Image Awards
The Positive Image Awards 2013 recognises and rewards secondary students from across Western Australia. Nominations for this year’s awards are now open and close 5pm Friday, 31 May 2013. For more information about the nomination process and to download a copy of the nomination form, click here.
The Alcohol. Think Again Parents, Young People and Alcohol Campaign, is a joint initiative of the Drug and Alcohol Office, the McCusker Centre for Action on Alcohol and Youth and the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research to give parents and young people important information and tools to make informed choices about delaying initiation to alcohol use. The project has been part -funded by Healthway Health Promotion grant funding.

‘Our Youth—Our Future’ is the Western Australian Government’s commitment to young people. For the first time, a whole of government structured framework has been developed to guide youth programs and service planning in an integrated way into the future. ‘Our Youth—Our Future’ also recognises existing strategic approaches for providing services and programs to young people and the importance of government working in partnership with the non-government sector to support young people.
