Western Australia was the first state to introduce the Seniors Card in 1988 as a mark of the community’s care and respect for seniors, and in recognition of the contribution seniors make to the community. Today approximately 300,000 senior Western Australians are getting a better deal with Seniors Card – one of the most generous in Australia. It is a lifelong card that does not need to be renewed.
You can enjoy the benefits of a WA Seniors Card if you are:
- aged 60 years or more
- a permanent resident of Western Australia, and
- working 20 hours or less per week.
Seniors Card holders are entitled to a range of government concessions and discounts of 10% to 50% off the price of goods and services from over 500 businesses listed in the WA Seniors Card Discount Directory.
