Youth Grants WA
The Department for Communities - Youth recently conducted a review of its grants programs that resulted in the development of a new streamlined grants model. The new grants model will allow for a simplified application process for all one-off grants.
Applications and guidelines for the following programs can now be accessed here.
Youth Activities Grants
Funding of up to $5 000 each is offered for community organisations to develop projects that encourage young people to get involved in innovative and challenging community projects and activities. Projects must benefit young people 12-25 years.
Applications may be submitted at any time.
National Youth Week Grants
National Youth Week in April celebrates the positive contributions of young people to our community.
Funding of up to $1 000 is available for organisations to host a National Youth Week event that brings young people together. Priority will be given to applications that provide opportunities for young people to express their ideas and views, celebrate the positive contribution young people make to the community, or encourage the participation of diverse groups such as Indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse, and young people with a disability.
